The article explains that no computer can yet pass the ‘Turing test’. The Turing test, indeed, is a famous test which Alan Turing hypothesized. To pass the test, a computer must fool humans into believing that they are interacting with another human. But the hunt for artificial intelligence is moving in a different, exciting direction that involves creativity, language – and, of course, music.
